What Kids Wish Parents Knew About Parenting
by Joe White, Howard Publishing 1998, 205 pages

We are always very reluctant to recommend any book on child raising. The problem is that most books in this area are so idealistic that they lose realism for parents seeking real answers. Most books written tell moving, tragic, motivational stories which move us--but leave us. There is no follow up, no instructions of what to do or how to do it.

This book also has moving, tragic, motivational stories, but the strength of the book is that the moving stories have follow-up. There are self tests, lists of things to do, things to say to children and ways to evaluate lifestyles and family strength.

We recommend this book as an exceptional work that is very practical and useful. If you are looking for a useful new book on parenting we think you will like this one.
