28 You have made known to me the paths of life;

29 “Brothers, I can tell you confidently that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is here to this day. 30 But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that he would place one of his descendants on his throne. 31 Seeing what was ahead, he spoke of the resurrection of the Christ, that he was not abandoned to the grave, nor did his body see decay.From BibleGateway.com: http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Acts 20:28-31&version=NIV1984
14 I am not writing this to shame you, but to warn you, as my dear children.
28 We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ.
5 For this very
reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to
goodness, knowledge; 6
and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and
to perseverance, godliness; 7
and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. 8
For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will
keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of
our Lord Jesus Christ. 9
But if anyone does not have them, he is nearsighted and blind, and has
forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins.
