|Three billion nerve cells of my brain
Are telegrams that signal pain
As well as sense of joy, too,
Describe the world I'm passing through.
|Communication central system,
Like myriad lines of telephone,
Sorts out the messages, directs them
So each by its intent is known.
|Was it by chance, or by designing,
That made this system, yours and mine?
How could each "accident" just happen,
Except by plan that is divine?
|Three billion nerve cells in your brain
To signal knowledge, pleasure, pain,
That you may learn to think and do,
And know the world you're passing through.
|Three billion brain cells going strong,
Discern between the right and wrong,
Will give the guidance that we need
If we will let God's Spirit lead.
|1 Corinthians 2:14
|Yes, these are cells with mission true,
That with them we may think, then do;
And then find heaven's avenue
When we must bid this world adieu.
|2 Corinthians 5:1|
